KMCO Chemical Plant Explosion in Crosby sends two to Houston Hospital

CROSBY -- At least two people were hurt from a small plant explosion in Crosby.The explosion happened just after 5 a.m. Friday at KMCO LP chemical plant on Ramsey Road near Crosby-Dayton Road. A small fire started in the production area and plant employees were able to put the fire out. The Company claims that no chemicals were released and that there was no danger to the public. The two people injured with facial burns were transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. One person is in critical condition and the other person is stable.
